Sixty-nine time-honored brands and intangible cultural heritage enterprises will attend the fourth China International Import Expo, or CIIE, which is slated to be held from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai, said the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce.

The Shandong time-honored brand and intangible cultural heritage experience hall covers an area of 774 square meters and will be divided into three sections: Gourmet Shandong, Beautiful Shandong and Healthy Shandong to display snacks, products, wine, spices, arts and crafts, clothing, and authentic medicinal materials from Shandong.

Another hall, the Boshan National Cultural Export Base, with an exhibition area of 108 square meters, will display ceramics and colored glaze products from Boshan.
Boshan district in Zibo, Shandong province has been included in the first group of national culture export bases to further promote the area's ceramics industry to the world.
During the first CIIE in 2018, artistic and cultural performances were major attractions. A display of intangible cultural heritage and time-honored Chinese brands was added as part of the second CIIE in 2019.
A dazzling array of famous Shandong brands and traditional cultural items have been presented to visitors at CIIE, such as Dezhou braised chicken, Tsingtao beer, Dong-E E-Jiao (donkey-hide gelatin), Shandong-style pancakes, paper cuttings, and Zibo-made ceramic products.

During latest edition, the Shandong exhibition hall attracted over 100,000 visitors, with on-site sales reaching 6.06 million yuan ($949,600), and the value of intended orders hitting 50.13 million yuan.
