The 21st China (Zibo) International Ceramics Exposition will be held on Nov 29 to Dec 6 in Zibo, East China's Shandong province, according to a news conference on Nov 23.
With the theme "New Start, New Passway, New Expectations", this year's expo will have one main venue and four branch venues with a total exhibition area of over 3,000 square meters.
More than 200 enterprises and 300 ceramic experts at the national and provincial levels from home and abroad will participate in the expo. Five overseas ceramic brands, over 50 enterprises from other provinces and cities, and over 100 experts from the six main domestic ceramic production areas – Jingdezhen in Jiangxi province, Liling in Hunan province, Dehua in Fujian province, Tangshan in Hebei province, Yixing in Jiangsu province and Baofeng in Henan province – will gather in Zibo, raising the expo to a new level.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and the theme "New Start" implies that the ceramic industry in Zibo is expected to start a new journey toward better quality and more vitality.
As one of Zibo's most iconic traditional industries, the ceramic industry will concentrate on digitization, crossover cooperation and collaborative innovation to improve its industrial intelligence, promote the extension of industrial chains and accelerate high-quality development.
