Spanning an area of 60 hectares and costing 67 million yuan ($10.37 million), the establishment of Zhangxiang Lake Wetland Park is one of the key projects of the Xiaofu River renovation.
The wetlands water area extends over 44.7 ha and there are five islands, covering 7.4 ha.
Together, they offer a tranquil landscape that is lush and green throughout the year and as such, it has become a popular place for residents to relax and enjoy their leisure time.
