Zibo offers developing consumer market to investors

In 2020, Zibo's urban and rural residents' disposable incomes per capita were 46,415 yuan and 20,891 yuan, respectively, with year-on-year increases of 2.6 percent and 4.9 percent.

Meanwhile, consumption expenditure per capita reached 29,470 yuan and 14,946 yuan respectively, increasing by 1.8 percent and 3.4 percent.

In 2020, Zibo's consumer markets saw steady development and annual gross retail sales of social consumer goods reached 113.47 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.8 percent compared with the previous year.

Zibo boasts the largest wholesaler trading market in the central region of Shandong province – namely the Zibo Yiwu Market – and the largest fruit trading market in the area north of the Yangtze River, called the Bofa Fruit Wholesale Market.

Other major shopping areas are: the Ceramic & Colored Glaze Market in Boshan district, Zhoucun Commercial Street, Zibo Qisai Science Plaza, Zibo Ceramics Technology Plaza, Rongbaozhai Qilu Arts Plaza, Linzi Chemical Products Plaza, Zichuan Building Materials Plaza, the Haisheng Aquatic Product Wholesale Market, Luzhong Furnishing Material Plaza and Zhoucun Textile Plaza, among others.
