Development goals: to grow and consolidate traditional leading industries including plastics, papermaking, furniture, food and kitchen appliances. By 2025, the industrial scale will have reached 66 billion yuan ($10.36 billion).
Industrial layout: a focus on the furniture, food and the electric food warmer industries in Zhoucun district, as well as the plastics processing and the kitchen equipment industries in Linzi district. Elsewhere, the papermaking and plastic pipes industries in Huantai county, the wine making industry in Gaoqing county, the food industry in Zichuan, Boshan, Yiyuan and the Zibo new and high-tech development zone. The overall aim is to promote industries, so they form concentrated and cohesive development.
