The city of Zibo in East China's Shandong province will hold a special New Year's Eve online livestreaming broadcast from Dec 31, 2021 to Jan 1, 2022 to welcome in the new year.
The activity will be livestreamed on the app and tiktok account of Qidianzibo, as well as other local media.
It will have one main venue – the Zibo Broadcast-TV Building – and two branch venues.
At the main venue, six to eight guests will be invited to discuss Zibo, looking at topics including the development of the night economy, its construction as a park city and as a "Five Good" city.
"Five Good" means a great place for studying, sightseeing, tasting delicious food, fun and startups. To create a Five Good city is a new development plan issued by Zibo this year to make the city more appealing to top-flight people to come and live and work there.
In addition, China-savvy expats will also attend the livestreaming session to talk about a Five Good Zibo in their eyes.
At the branch venues, there will be an opening ceremony and other interesting activities and performances.
Last but not least, during the four-hour livestreaming, audiences will be able to win free gifts such as annual city tourism cards and tickets to the Yudai Lake Lantern Festival.
