The Zibo arbitration commission and the Funds Association of Zibo – both located in Zibo city in East China's Shandong province – signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Feb 22 to establish an arbitration service station there.
"Disputes in the funds industry are characterized by complex cases, strong professionalism, involving many subjects and are difficult to solve," said Wang Yanfeng, chairman of the funds association.
"This strategic cooperation will effectively resolve disputes in the funds industry".
According to Zhang Gongbo, director of Zibo arbitration commission, arbitration has significant advantages in resolving disputes in the funds industry and in ensuring the development of the sector.
Taking the initiative in order to better serve financial enterprises was an important measure for the Zibo arbitration commission to help create a business environment that was conducive to further development in the city, Zhang added.
Strong working relations between the two bodies are expected to further improve the fund sector's professional standing, as well as its perceived impartiality, efficiency and authority.
