The start of construction in Spring of 320 major industrial projects in Zibo city – located in East China's Shandong province – was celebrated on Feb 25.
This year, Zibo has decided to implement 1,218 key projects at the provincial, municipal, district and county levels, with a total investment of 860 billion yuan ($136.31 billion) and an annual investment of 145 billion yuan.
The projects launched this time involved combined investment of 239 billion yuan.
In addition, the city held a groundbreaking and signing ceremony for new energy projects in 2022.
A total of 148 new energy projects have been started or signed up, with an investment of 122.2 billion yuan. Of these, 108 projects have broken ground with an investment of 86.2 billion yuan and 40 projects have been signed up with the investment of 36 billion yuan.
