The tourism industry in Zibo city – located in East China's Shandong province – is understood to be gradually getting back to business following the successive opening of 41 scenic spots.
Outdoor activities are now all the rage with the arrival of spring in Zibo – with people progressively heading out to take in the blooming flowers, to work on their fitness, or to go hiking and camping.
Tourist hot spots include Tanxi Mountain, Swan Lake International Cittaslow Scenic Area and Kaiyuan Cave.

Parent-kids tours have also become something a fad, with many folks taking their children out to experience nature at Sanshuiyuan amusement park.

Although the novel coronavirus epidemic situation is improving, all the scenic spots are staying vigilant and retaining their stringent epidemic-control measures while resuming operations.
They've opened online booking web pages and are observing crowd control measures, carrying out regular disinfections and more to avoid the spread of the virus.
All staff are being required to wear protective gear, while visitors must have their temperatures taken before entering.
