Founded in October 2019, the Huantai entrepreneurial intelligent dream town – in Zibo city in East China's Shandong province – has become a hotspot for innovation and entrepreneurship, with talent, capital and projects continually being attracted to settle there over the past two years.
In February, the town was selected as a characteristic town of note in the services sector by the General Office of Shandong Provincial Government.
At present, the town's major projects include the Qilu entrepreneurial intelligent valley and Tianqi automobile park, with the town's investment in specialist industries there accounting for 86 percent of its total investment.
Qilu entrepreneurial intelligent valley is a high-end platform for recruiting people and attracting investment. Nearly 200 enterprises have settled there, covering a variety of emerging industries such as innovation and entrepreneurship services and high-end R&D and production.
The resident companies are doing well. Among the first batch of enterprises to come, Zibo Solid Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technology Co Ltd has reported that its operating income has increased at a rate of around 50 percent every year since its arrival.
"The park has made great efforts in terms of rent reductions and policy support," said Gao Shufeng, deputy general manager of the company.
He said that whenever the municipal government released new policies, departments were on their toes, providing door-to-door guidance.
For example, the company is currently applying to be designated a small and medium-sized enterprise with specializations, refinements and novelty, a status that can lead to it getting financial support from the Zibo municipal government. Relevant policies on this were just announced in May.
The Tianqi automobile park is another major project in the Huantai entrepreneurial intelligent dream town.
The vast majority of auto-related businesses can be handled there.
There are currently more than 300 market operators engaged in new cars, used cars and after-market sales of automobiles in the park.
"Customers can not only buy cars, but also access one-stop convenient and efficient driving services here," said a park official.
In addition, another innovation and entrepreneurship center for automobile commercial operations, talent training and technical research is now in full swing in the south of the park.
