Anhui-based new materials company Triumph Science & Technology Co Ltd and the municipal government of Yiyuan county – administered by Zibo city in East China's Shandong province – signed an agreement on June 22 to build a pharmaceuticals glass production plant.
Located in the Yiyuan county pharmaceutical packaging materials industrial park, the plant will produce mold-formed bottles and glass tubes made from the medium borosilicate pharmaceutical glass, as well as various equipment.
The products are safe, high-end pharmaceuticals packaging materials and the company says there is huge potential demand for the upgrading of domestic pharmaceuticals glass.
Triumph Science & Technology is a subsidiary of China National Building Materials Group Co Ltd, a leading high-tech enterprise in the materials field in China.
The company signed a strategic frame agreement with Zibo in July 2021. The municipal governments of Zibo city and Yiyuan county are expected to push for an early start and a speedy implementation of the project.
