This year marks the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan.
The city of Zibo – in East China's Shandong province – will host the Meet you in Zibo 2022 Sino-Japan Cooperation Fair from Aug 5 to 7. The aims will be to deepen Zibo's opening-up, promote the metropolis to the world, strengthen friendship and promote mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Japan.
The event is being sponsored by the Shandong government's foreign affairs office and department of commerce, the Zibo municipal government and the Japan-China Economic Association.
The schedule will include the opening ceremony, a promotion of Sino-Japanese enterprises and industrial parks, business matchmaking meetings, group visits, among other things.
