Shandong SDU (Shandong University) Fundamental Education Group and Zibo Economic Development Zone administrative committee held a signing ceremony for regional cooperation on improving educational quality in Zibo, a city in East China's Shandong province on Aug 11 to leverage high-quality educational resources and boost the educational development of the Zibo Economic Development Zone.
During the ceremony, Shandong SDU Fundamental Education Group awarded the honor of "Shandong SDU Fundamental Education Group Alliance School" to the Zibo Economic Development Zone Experimental School, Nanding Middle School and Nanding Primary School.
The Zibo Economic Development Zone has administered schools in the manner of group management and introduced the high-end education group in an effort to create a new educational mecca in Zibo. SDU and Zibo municipal government signed a university-city integration framework agreement on June 7. Meanwhile, as an important part of the university-city integration, Shandong SDU Fundamental Education Group and Zibo Economic Development Zone Administration signed a strategic cooperation agreement.
