The third Bashan Spring Festival Folk Flower Parade will be staged from Jan 22 to Feb 5 at the Bashan Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Tourism Demonstration Base in Zibo city.
Folk artists will perform the national intangible cultural heritage ceremony called Datiehua. It's a spectacular display – which in Chinese literally means "iron flowers" – created by banging molten iron with hammers to create an extraordinary shower of sparks. The performance will be staged every from 19:30 – 20:00 on Jan 22 to Feb 5.

Traditional folk plays, Yangko dances, dragon and lion dances and walking on stilts will also be performed there.
Various lanterns are necessary for a traditional flower parade. This year's lanterns are designed with design elements including traditional Chinese classic stories, the Bashan cultural landscape and traditional Chinese medicine culture.
In addition, there will be a lot of delicious snacks at the event, allowing visitors stroll, play and eat at the same time.
