A delegation from Russia's St. Petersburg 257th School visited Zhoucun Experimental Middle School in Zibo, Shandong province, on Feb 8 to sign a memorandum of friendly cooperation, marking Zibo's first friendly school partnership of the year.
The visit was facilitated by the Sino-Russian (Shandong) Education International Cooperation Alliance, with the aim to enhance educational exchanges and cooperation between Zibo and Russia, broaden the international perspectives of young students, and build bridges of cultural understanding.
During the visit, the representatives introduced the basic situation of their respective schools and engaged in in-depth discussions on the next steps for exchange and cooperation projects.
St. Petersburg's 257th School, founded in 2012 and situated in the Pushkinsky district, comprises a preschool, primary, middle, and high school, as well as various extracurricular interest groups. Boasting over 600 students and 60 teachers, it is a prominent national budget educational facility in St. Petersburg.
