The second Zibo Urban Theatre Festival and the fifth China Wuyin Opera Art Festival were launched in Zibo, Shandong province with their opening ceremony staged at the Zibo Grand Theatre at 7:30 pm on Feb 11.
The theatre festival will run to March. According to the schedule, a number of national, provincial and municipal plays will be put on and a variety of artistic performances and cultural activities will be staged.
For the opera festival, the National Peking Opera Company, the Shandong Provincial Peking Opera Theater and various professional local art troupes are performing both on-site and online. Some 50 or so activities will be held in eight sections.
People can experience a colorful blend of online and offline activities across eight sectors at an affordable price.
