Douglas Dueno, an expat from the US, recently embarked on a journey into Chinese ceramics and glass in Zibo city, in East China's Shandong province.
As every colorful artwork has its own unique story and history, Dueno went to Yanshen Ancient Town, the Xiye workshop and the China Ceramic and Glass Museum to learn about the knowhow behind ceramics and glass – and even had a go at making his own piece!
