The Department of Science & Technology of Shandong Province announced on Feb 18 that over 40 new achievements made by high-tech companies in Shandong province saw great service at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, which ended on Feb 20.
One of the companies, Zibo Lecron Sci-tech Co Ltd, participated in the design and construction of the Yanqing Huihuang Yunqi Valley hotel – which provided accommodation for guests attending the Games and for journalists covering the events, who needed to use the nearby Winter Olympics media center.
Zibo Lecron Sci-tech was responsible for the waterproof spraying of the roof and the exterior winter surfacing of the hotel.
The new material can not only achieve full seamless coverage and effectively resist any damage caused by building deformation, but also has an excellent protective effect. Furthermore, it can extend the service life of the building by 30-50 years.
In addition, in the whole construction process, using the material meant that there were no volatile organic compounds emissions, no pollution and there was no harm to the environment.
