The year 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Zibo National New & High-tech Industrial Development Zone – located in the city of Zibo, in East China's Shandong province. As a special event to mark the anniversary, expats living or working in Zibo were recently invited to an event that aimed to depict the major changes that the zone has undergone in terms of its economy, society and urban and rural areas.
Canadian citizen Adrian and Philippines woman Maria – both working in Zibo – were invited to visit the Chinese Textbook Museum, considered to be one of the cultural landmarks in the zone.
The institution is the first textbook museum in Asia, with the largest single body area and the most complete collection of books. It presents a panoramic display of primary and secondary school textbooks from various historical periods in China, from 1862 to the present.
Adrian and Maria said they fully experienced Chinese culture and felt the charms of the Zibo high-tech zone. Let's check out what they said.
