The year of 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Zibo National New & High-tech Industrial Development Zone – administered by Zibo in East China's Shandong province. In celebration, foreigners living or working in Zibo were invited to learn about the profound economic and social changes that have occurred in both the urban and rural areas of Zibo high-tech zone.
British Matty and Philippine Emie, teachers from Zibo Xiuwen International Academy in Zibo – administered by East China's Shandong province, visited Zibo High-tech Zone to learn how industrial relics are revitalized.
At the foot of Mulong Mountain, the exhibition hall of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park City explores the history of the Sibao Mountain region and the century-old industrial history with the theme of enabling ecology and innovating for the future through science and technology and displays the whole process of the transformation of old and new driving forces in Zibo high-tech zone.
In 2016, Zibo high-tech zone carried out ecological restoration on Jiuding Mountain. Now, Jiuding Forest Park has become a suburban ecological sports park integrating ecological tourism, geological sightseeing, sports leisure and cultural experience.
Also in 2016, Zibo high-tech zone upgraded Huashan Mountain scenic spot, which reopened on Aug 1, 2018.
