A week-long festival for foodies, which opened on June 8 in Zibo city – located in East China's Shandong province – brought together over 78 wonderful gastronomic delights from the city's Zichuan district, as well as over 100 local agricultural products and time-honored brands.

Among the most popular of the offerings were cherries from Yangjia village, administered by Hongshan town.

Because the terrain in Yangjia has a high content of selenium, the cherries and raspberries grown there contain many essential micronutrients.

In addition, wine made from the fruit grown there also has a very high nutritional value.

Zibo started holding its gourmet festival in November 2021, to promote and display the food outlets, as well as the cultural history and tourism in the districts and counties of the city.
