Six companies from Zibo city, East China's Shandong province, are displaying their products at the Exhibition on Multinationals and China in Qingdao – a port city in Shandong.
The event is part of the Third Qingdao Multinationals Summit, which showcases new products and technologies from multinational companies and leading Chinese companies.
The exhibition, which runs until June 21 at the Qingdao International Convention Center, showcases China's opening-up, particularly in Shandong, and serves as a platform for collaboration between multinational corporations and Shandong-based businesses. On display at the Zibo exhibition area are a number of intelligent manufacturing equipment and new material products from Hyundai Heavy Industries Zibo Robotics Co Ltd, Shandong Odes Industry Co Ltd, Suntae Automobile Co Ltd, Yarward Electronic Co Ltd, Zibo Refratechnik Refractories Co Ltd and Zibo Mining Group Co Ltd.

At the entrance to the Zibo exhibition area, two tall orange welding robots from Hyundai stand out.
"The two high-end welding machines on display in this exhibition are the HA006B+ arc welding Machine and Welding robot HS180+ spot welding machine," said Zhang Bo, a staff member at the Hyundai Robotics exhibition area.
Hyundai Robotics is cooperating with local enterprises to produce complete sets of welding robotics equipment for automobile production.
The robot production base in Zibo adopts the world's top intelligent production technology and produces 5,000 sets annually. At present, it has received more than 200 orders.
"We hope that the summit can help attract more supporting upstream and downstream industrial projects for the company's planned industrial robot industrial park," Zhang added.

In addition, Shandong Odes Industry Co Ltd displayed a variety of all-terrain vehicles and an autonomous twin-rotor helicopter at the exhibition, which drew a lot of attention. It also showed off its recently built driverless coffee and milk tea sales vehicles, as well as driverless sweeper vehicles and driverless multi-purpose transport vehicles.
Bian Wenjun, deputy general manager of Suntae Automobile Co Ltd, said that the company has a leading self-developed intelligent network of technology in China, and more than 70 patented technologies.

The information medical management communication system presented by Yarward Electronic Co Ltd is a digital hospital calling system for intelligent ward calling and clinical information management. It has served 8,500 hospitals in China, accounting for more than 60 percent of the Chinese market share.
Zibo Mining Group Co Ltd demonstrated three new materials: sapphire wafer, polyphosphazene, and ultra-fine aluminum. The new materials all have excellent performance and a wide range of market applications. For example, polyphosphazene has filled the domestic gap with its excellent flame retardant and high thermodynamic stability and has become a leading new material throughout the world.
