Population: 614,530 (2018)

Area: 663.68 square kilometers

Geography

The Linzi district of Zibo city – in East China's Shandong province – is situated at the intersection of the Luzhong hills and the Lubei Plain and to the northeast of Zibo. To the east, it is adjacent to Qingzhou – a county-level city administered by the prefecture-level city of Weifang – while neighboring Zichuan district and Qingzhou to the south. It adjoins Zhangdian district and Huantai county to the west and borders Guangrao county in Dongying city and Boxing county in Binzhou city to the north.

Transportation

Linzi district has the Qingdao-Jinan Railway, the Qingdao-Yinchuan Expressway and the Jinan-Qingdao High-speed Railway currently under construction.

Administrative divisions

Linzi district consists of seven towns – Qidu, Jingzhong, Zhuhe, Jinling, Huangcheng, Fenghuang and Jinshan. It also has five sub-districts – Xindian, Wenshao, Xuegong, Jixia and Qiling – as well as 464 villages and communities.
