The Linzi district of Zibo city – located in East China's Shandong province – held a signing ceremony on April 15 for 40 projects, whose investment involved a combined 33.88 billion yuan ($5.3 billion).
The projects cover such key fields as intelligent manufacturing, new materials, new energy, new medicine, big data and modern agriculture.
These are said to particularly align with the current industrial development direction of Zibo.

Even as the enduring cycle of the seasons progresses and the weather warms up – with the land turning lush and green and spring plowing starting – major change is in the air at Zhutai town in the shape of the future.

A special road tanker carrying 179 kilograms of hydrogen for fuel cells on March 28 slowly left a plant being operated by Sinopec Qilu Petrochemical Company in Zibo city.
It marked the point where the plant had moved from using the hydrogen it produced for itself, to selling it to markets in China.

Four new measures – offering government services to Zibo residents and companies as usual amid the COVID-19 pandemic – were recently implemented by the administrative examination and approval service bureau in the Linzi district of the city, located in East China's Shandong province.
Based on the Shandong provincial business start-up service platform, Linzi's companies can now handle all their administrative procedures online including registration, changing their particulars, filing records and making cancellations.
