Zibo city – located in East China's Shandong province – on Aug 3 initiated an action plan to boost the development of its cross-border e-commerce industries.
Zibo city announced at the first China Computational Power Conference with leading artificial intelligence company SenseTime that they would build an AI computing power innovation center in the metropolis.

Zibo city has prioritized its commercial stability while pursuing progress in its economy and is understood to have laid out a solid foundation for accomplishing this year's targets and tasks.
East China's Shandong province saw robust foreign trade growth in the first half of this year, according to local customs authorities.
The Gaoqing district of Zibo city held a signing ceremony on July 20 for 43 projects that will cost 24.45 billion yuan ($3.67 billion), local media reported.
In the first half of this year, Shandong's GDP amounted to 4.17 trillion yuan ($618.66 billion), up 3.6 percent year-on-year.
Since the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership or RCEP trade agreement took effect on Jan 1 this year, the customs office in Zibo city has issued 2,062 RCEP certificates of origin.
