Huoshao (baked wheat cake) is one of the most popular breakfast snacks in the Boshan district of Zibo city, in East China's Shandong province.
The ingredients for huoshao include well-marbled pork belly, wild peppers and chopped scallions. Through frying, baking, drying and steaming, huoshao tastes deliciously crispy on the outside and the fillings give off a wonderful aroma.
