Huantai county – administered by Zibo city, in East China's Shandong province – held a signing ceremony on April 28 for 40 projects that will cost a total of 34.1 billion yuan ($5.15 billion), local media reported.

Zibo saw its foreign trade reach 28.29 billion yuan ($4.29 billion) in the first quarter of 2022, with exports surging 26 percent year-on-year to 17.23 billion yuan, according to the Zibo Customs office.
