Boshan district – administered by the prefecture-level city of Zibo, in East China's Shandong province – is beefing up efforts to build its tourism brand by integrating its natural resources, ceramic culture, rural experience activities and many other appealing features.

Yanshen Ancient Town still retains 13 conserved ancient kilns, old streets and more than 100 ancient buildings from the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties.
