The improved commercial environment in Boshan district – administered by the prefecture-level city of Zibo, in East China's Shandong province – has made it a real magnet for young entrepreneurs who want to embark on business startups.
Boshan is understood to have dedicated itself to optimizing its business environment by streamlining previously cumbersome administrative procedures and canceling non-essential documentation.
One of the key projects in the district – the Goldsmiths smart fitness manufacturing plant – only took five months from the project getting official approval to the start of production.

Elsewhere, Zhao Shengjian – who decided to return to Zhonghaoyu village in the district after graduating from college, currently is the general manager of Youyougu Tourism Development Co Ltd.
Leading a team with an average age of 26, he says he is committed to helping villagers to develop rural tourism and to boosting the incomes of locals.

Many young graduates are making the same choice as Zhao. Chen Yue, a PhD graduate, opened a shop in the Hongyeshiyan Scenic Spot and is also responsible for managing the investment affairs of the scenic spot.
