Largest reservoir
The Taihe Reservoir, as one of the best sources of surface water, is the largest reservoir and the largest manpower project in the region administered by the prefecture-level city of Zibo.

Longest man-made agricultural water tunnel
Wanmi Cave, a support project for the main canal of the Taihe Reservoir, is the longest man-made agricultural water tunnel in China.
It is understood Zichuan dispatched 5,000 migrant workers from five towns in 1975 and that it took two years and another two months to complete the work.

Largest town
The largest town in Zichuan, Taihe town – located in the southeast of Zichuan, with a total area of 268.7 square kilometers – governs 95 administrative villages.

Highest peak
Heishi village has the highest peak in Zichuan, with an altitude of 923 meters. It is located to the east of Houziyu village, in the E'zhuang area of Taihe town.
